EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA PARA NIÑOS

REGISTER NOW FOR:
  RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, FIRST COMMUNION & FIRST RECONCILIATION PREPARATION.  

• Classes for Kindergarten to 8^th grade are held from 9:30am to 10:45am on Sundays in English or from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesdays in Spanish.

• Books are bi-lingual. Our classes begin in September.
     Los libros son biligues.  Nuevo curso comienza el mes de septiembre.

• Parent Classes are also held during the children's classes and are required for parents of Sacramental Prep Students.

ADULT CLASSES

Parent Faith Formation and Religious Education
Do you need a refresher?  
 Join other parents from 9:45am to 10:45am
 Sundays September to May.  
(These classes are required for parents of students
 in Sacramental Preparation classes.)

 for married couples.

Ascension Women's Ministry brings women together
 to grow in friendship, spirit and faith, 
and to reach out into our community 
to serve and be witnesses of God's love.

Women's Monthly Service:
All Women are invited to help provide dinner for Family Promise Shelter.
Cook at home, and/or serve on the 3 ^rd Friday of each month. 
We provide dinner and hospitality to families.

ADULT SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
First Communion &  Confirmation
For adults age 18 or older who have already celebrated Baptism in the Catholic Church and/or First Communion, but have not been confirmed yet, or who have been baptized and Confirmed, but have not received their First Eucharist.
Classes are held Sundays at  9:45am bilingual, 12:45pm in English
 or Tuesdays at 6pm in Spanish or English.

Becoming Catholic
Are You Interested in Becoming Catholic
 or learning more about the Catholic Christian Faith?
 OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)

OCIA is the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, which is the process by which baptized adults and un-baptized adults can become full members of the Catholic Church.  OCIA provides a welcoming, prayerful and informative setting that allows people to come and explore God's call in their lives and learn more about what it means to be Catholic. 
 The process leads to your baptism and full communion with the Catholic Church
 when you discern that you are  ready to make this important step.
 Classes are held on Tuesdays at 6pm in Spanish or English and on Sundays at 12:45pm.

Marriage Preparation
 in English, Spanish and Bilingual Spanish/English
This is a special and graced time for you as you prepare for your marriage.
Recognizing that God has called you to the Sacrament of Marriage,
the Church joins with you during this time and asks God’s blessings
on your shared life and love.

Your wedding ceremony is a significant event celebrating the beginning of your married life together. Contact Sharon Grigar at the Parish Office
at least 6 months in advance to allow time for preparations.
