OCIA is the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults,
which is the process by which baptized adults or un-baptized adults
can become full members of the Catholic Church.
OCIA provides a welcoming and informative setting
that allows people to come and learn more about what it means to be Catholic.
The process may lead to your baptism and full communion
with the Catholic Church.This journey includes education, faith development and liturgical rites.It is a communal processthat it involves the individual, their sponsor, the OCIA teamand our wider church community.The OCIA process is divided into periods of time:- The Period of Inquiry
is a time for asking questions and discovering answers.- The Period of the Catechumenate
is meant for those individuals who have decided to pursue baptism or their profession of faith in the Church.- The Period of Enlightenment and Purification,
usually during the season of lent, is a time of retreat and prayer, time spent drawing closer to God in preparation of the Easter Mysteries.- The Period of Mystagogia, a time of celebration and exploration of discipleship.

(Order of Christian Initiation of Adults).
Classes For Children and Parents: Sundays at 9:45am
Classes For Adults : Sundays at 12:30pm in English
Tuesdays at 6pm in Spanish
New Inquirers Group: Sundays at 12:30pm
Classes for baptized Catholic Adults
who would like to celebrate the Sacrament of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation are also held Sundays or Tuesdays at 12:30pm.

OICA- Order de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos
Todas las personas mayores de 18 años que no tienen sus sacramentos como, Bautizo, Primera Comunión, Confirmación, pueden registrarse para las clases de RICA que serán los martes empezando en septiembre. Se puede registrar el domingo después de las misas en la mesa de registraciones para los sacramentos saliendo de la iglesia en el vestíbulo. -

Sacrament of Confirmation and first eucharist
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is the second sacrament of initiation. "The sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."" (CCC 1285)
Who can be confirmed?
"Every baptized person not yet confirmed can and should receive the sacrament of Confirmation." (CCC 1306)
Classes for baptized Catholic Adults to prepare for Eucharist and/or Confirmation are held Sundays at 9:45am or 12:30pm in English
and Wednesdays at 7pm in Spanish.
